About Sophia

I've always enjoyed helping my fellow peers. Even from a young age in school, I would tutor my friends or they just knew they could come for me for help. Since, not much has changed. I am very patient and kind (a key skill set for any teacher) and have lots of knowledge that I'm more than willing to share. I've been tutoring as a side gig all through high school and college. I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. My areas of expertise are (but not limited to) general sciences: biology, chemistry, ecology, social sciences, etc and mathematics: any math up to algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and calculus 1. I am also able to teach English language including composition, comprehension, and grammar. I am also able to help with foreign language learning. Furthermore, I am a lifelong athlete. I have played volleyball for 10 years and have experienced coaching and physical training. I'm looking forward to helping out those in need.
