About Sophia

I started as a mother's helper at the age of 11, and gradually worked my way up to babysitting starting at 13 years old. In 2018, I began nannying and throughout the years have worked with multiple families with children ranging from the ages of 4-15. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with families whose children have diverse needs, including autism spectrum disorder and ADHD. My experience in childcare has led me to learn how to provide compassionate and supportive care tailored to each child's needs. My responsibilities include: hands-on activities (swimming, parks, nature walks), transportation to/from activities, cooking, help with schoolwork, and general upkeep of house. Sophia is absolutely amazing! She’s been our nanny for the past 1 year, coming in whenever we need her. She takes our daughter to afterschool activities (piano, swimming, etc) or picks her up from school when we can’t manage. She’s been able to babysit in the evening/nights when the wife and I wanted to go out for date night. She’s able to make quick meals and also holds the rules/boundaries that we’ve set with our children. The kids love her and she’s able to do activities without resorting to screen time like other caretakers do. I can’t imagine hiring anyone else if Sophia is available.
