My name is Sonya . I'm new to the care. come scene, but a veteran child care provider/teacher/mom. I'd describe my personality as patient but serious, with a keen sense of creativity. I like working with kids because their questions and creativity never cease to amaze me. I learn from them! I'm looking for a job that is welcoming and appreciative of my qualifications. I desire not only to care but to help. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. I have two grown children of my own, plus I hold my NC Teaching Certificate K-12 Dance. In my spare time, I like to create handmade greeting cards, hike, and have coffee with friends. One thing you should know about me is I'm very proud of my own two kids. It has been a joy to watch them grow and become the adults they are today.
