About Sonnia
My name is Sonnia. I have 4 grown children that are attending University. I have 15 years of paid experience working for East Whittier City and Rowland Unified School District as an Instructional Assistant. I have worked with Special Needs children and adults since 2005. They have had different types of disabilities from cognitive to motor skills deficiencies. Many have had Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down Syndrome and many more. I had administer medication and food through G-tube, change diapers to bed-ridden students, clean Tracheostomy tubes by suctioning and other procedures. I am very caring and I enjoy taking care of people. My hobbies are painting, reading, singing, hiking and traveling.
