About Sonia

Sonia worked for my family for three years and saw us through a very wonderful and life-changing time in our family life. She worked for us three full days per week. When she first started working for us, she took care of my three year old twin boys and was in charge of taking them to and picking them up from their local pre-school as well as keeping them occupied with various activities, including trips to the park, library and other local shops. About a year after Sonia started working for us, I gave birth to my daughter. Sonia was there from the minute I brought my daughter home from the hospital. She not only helped me get adjusted to having a new baby at home, but was an important familiar presence for my boys while they tried to adjust to life with their new sister. I went back to work when my daughter was three months old and I had absolutely no qualms about Sonia's ability to take care of my small baby during the day. Sonia was a wonderful, loving and responsible presence for my children. While it is difficult to be a working mother, she made it easier for me, knowing that my children were happy and secure at home. We were sad to say goodbye to her when moved out of Chicago, but happily still keep in touch with her until this day.
