I feel that my educational as well as prior work experience qualifies me too work with children as a nanny. I studied psychology with a minor in early childhood education. I also have 6 years of nanny experience. I also was a nursery school teacher for 5 years. As a nursery school teacher I have experience in lesson planning and multitasking. I have a genuine love and appreciation for children. I am also a mother and have been for 14 years. I have worked with children from newborn to age 14. I know that all children are unique and have different needs. I have worked with special needs children in a nursery school setting. My first nanny position lasted for three years until the child was ready for preschool. I have been dedicated to the families I work for. And more recently I worked as a coordinator and teacher for a YMCA nursery school. I was there for five years. I remained dedicated to children for the 11 years or more if I count my own. I am looking forward to bonding with another family and meeting their childcare needs. I am fun loving, friendly and responsible and feel I can help any family instill these qualities in their children when they are unable to be there.....

Sonia was with us for almost two years prior to our children entering preschool. We hired her to take care of our two daughters. We still use her for intermittent date nights etc. Our kids still love seeing her. She had several responsibilities Drop off and pickup for our older child who was in school already. She would then be responsible for our younger child (feeding, taking her to classes, educating her, and putting her down for naps etc). She also performed some light house work (toy cleanup, small amount of dishes, washing the kids cloths). We would highly recommend her.
