I have cared for Dementia, cancer, and Parkinson's Disease patients and enjoy assisting the elderly and spending time with people. I spent most of my working career as a legal secretary and paralegal, but retired to leave the corporate world. I am outgoing and love helping others who need in-home assistance. I prefer to stay busy helping with meal preparation, laundry, etc. I lived with my grandmother prior to her being placed in a nursing home to administer medicines and so forth. I also cared for my step-son, with assistance from Hospice in my home before he passed at 23. I do prefer part-time positions, but am flexible with my schedule and can work around your specific needs and requirements. Thank you and my best to you and your family. My father is in his 90’s and struggles with dementia. He needed 24/7 care. Sondra helped out and did a great job with him. She is very caring and loving, and Dad really enjoyed the days she stayed with him. His daily care was very challenging, but she was able to handle and meet his daily needs. We could depend upon her to be there when scheduled, and I never had to worry about things when I knew she was working. We would definitely hire her again.
