I genuinely enjoy spending time with older adults and helping people maintain their independence and quality of life. I'm patient, dependable, easy to talk to, and the kind of person who enjoys both helping with practical everyday needs and providing friendly companionship along the way. I've previously worked with AARP teaching older adults how to use technology, which gave me experience working patiently with people at many different comfort levels and finding ways to explain things without making anyone feel rushed or overwhelmed. I'm a longtime home cook and am happy to help with meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, errands, transportation, light household tasks, and other day-to-day needs. I believe in treating older adults as capable individuals and respecting their independence.
