About Sommer

Hi! My name is Sommer, and I bring over 20 years of experience caring for children of all ages, ranging from newborns to teens. My background includes both paid and family-based care, and I've also worked as a substitute teacher across all grade levels, which has given me a strong foundation in classroom management and child development. I hold a degree in English and proudly served in the U. S. Air Force, where I developed leadership, responsibility, and the ability to adapt to any situation, qualities that naturally carry over into childcare. I'm also a certified nutritionist and love supporting families with healthy meal prep and light housekeeping to help make daily routines a little smoother. I'm passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where kids can thrive. Whether it's helping with homework, planning engaging activities, or whipping up a nutritious snack, I'm here to support your family however I can!
