About Sommer

Hi my name is Sommer, I am a 23-year-old student at GVSU, and I would love to work with your kiddo(s)! I just got my two weeks from my current babysitting job, so I'm looking for something to fill up my summer days! I have experience at a daycare center for over a year and a half working primarily with young infants-1year-olds, but I also worked with 2-4-year-olds. I have taken all the early childhood developmental courses that were required for the daycare and have done fingerprinting and background checks as well. I have experience with ASD children and am open to watching kids with disabilities. I have been an overnight camp counselor since I was 15 with kids of all ages so I am also comfortable with older kids! I have nannied/babysat for many other families since then, with many responsibilities, such as putting down for bed, cooking meals, cleaning, picking up from school, etc. My rate starts at $20 an hour, due to my extensive experience.
