About Solei

I believe in cultivating the wisdom inherent in the child, utilizing the benefits of outdoor education, and understanding child development to respond appropriately to the different phases of growth. I worked at a Montessori preschool that taught me about what is happening in the brains of children from age 1 to 6, which informs my intuitive and spirit-lead approach to childcare. When asked, I love to coach parents on how to regulate their nervous system, and respond appropriately to the various challenges of parenthood. I have a child-like spirit, as well as as the clear boundaries of an experienced adult. I have a beautiful nanny dog that comes with me to work, including when I worked at the preschool! She has brought joy to many children's lives, and taught many children how to relate peacefully to large dogs. I have experience creating and facilitating summer camps for children. I stay calm and centered in the midst of vast complexity and activation.
