I know English and Spanish, and I am currently studying Japanese! I have 9 years of experience in childcare. Alongside my commitment to child development, I am a certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant and the Owner and CEO of the Connecticut Center of Pediatric Consulting and Childcare Services (CCPCCS). Additionally, I studied Criminal Psychology at LU, a separate but equally passionate interest of mine.

From the moment she stepped in, Solange radiated warmth and friendliness. Prompt and professional, she immediately bonded with my boys, starting a board game before I even had a chance to leave. In just a few hours, she took them to the park, tennis courts, out for pizza and ice cream, and even played soccer with them. They couldn't stop talking about how kind and silly she was, clearly smitten. I wouldn't hesitate to call her again—she was absolutely fantastic! We truly loved having her with us.

Solange is perfect! She is very smart and knowledgeable. I love the way she speaks to my 8 month old son and keeps him entertained. She is very professional and more than a nanny. Solange was a life saver for my family during a bad snow storm! She made the trek out to help watch my son for the day and we couldn’t be more grateful. Not only that but she was absolutely attentive, responsible, and professional. I hired Solange this fall when I needed someone to provide afterschool care for my preschool-aged daughter one day a week on a consistent basis. I needed someone reliable, trustworthy, caring, and understanding of my daughter's needs; we found that and so much more in Solange. My daughter (3 years old) usually takes a long time to warm up to new people, but right away she became fond of Solange and that put me at ease. Solange knows how to speak to little ones in a gentle and reassuring way, to keep them entertained and happy, and of course, to keep them safe while mom is away! I feel lucky to have found Solange, and I appreciate her excellent communication skills and generally flexibility to meet my family's needs. I really lucked out and can say that I have no worries when leaving my little one in Solange's care. She is a gem.  

I booked Solange last minute when my regular nanny had to take a day off. Solange took great care of my 7-month old son. She was a great communicator, punctual, attentive, sweet and considerate. She strikes me as very responsible and trustworthy and clearly knows a lot about babies. I would happily hire her again.

She helped create structured activities for my 4 year old son and took him on adventures while I was in CT for a conference.  My only complaint is that I can't clone her and take her back with me to DC. She is amazing, responsible,  creative, kind,  resourceful and goes above and beyond.  My son loved her so much. 

Solange is amazing. Hire her! She has been SO wonderful with our 8 month old. I had to travel to CT for work and brought my baby because she is still nursing full time. Solange has been so flexible with taking the baby out and about from the hotel, taking her swimming, on walks, and sticking to her schedule. She is so responsive and wonderful with sending updates and pictures to ease my mind. I will definitely hire her again when I make another work trip!

This is to recommend Solange - my current nanny. Solange is an extremely trustworthy and reliable person who has taken care of my son in the first 3 years of his life. I work as a physician and therefore do not enjoy the flexibility that many other jobs may offer. So I needed someone who will be there for my son. I can say with confidence that in the past 3 years, there was not a single incidence in which Solange called out without prior communication or I was left scrambling for last-minute childcare issues because Solange would not show up. This also goes to show that she is a physically energetic and fit person who can take the rigors of this job. My toddler is active and wants to be outdoors all the time and Solange will take him out tirelessly. We are extremely thankful to her in that aspect. She is also a very kind-hearted person and your child will love spending time with her as did my son. I was always comfortable leaving my son with Solange even when he was sick. So, it is with a heavy heart that we make this uncomfortable transition of sending my son to preschool. But, such is the nature of life.

Solange is a very kind and a dependable sitter when I had her in my home. She entertained and watched over my 1 year old son and my 4 year old daughter along with their 3 year old cousin who just absolutely adored her presence! The second she walked in the door, they would all just tackle her and begging her to play with them. If you are seeking a fun and loving nanny who would be your kid's best friend then I would say that Solange is the right nanny for you.

Solange is natural with my son, who is 9 months, and enjoys spending time playing with him. She is helpful with tidying up his things and is pleasant to have in our home. She has experience with a variety of ages and is able to use that to best assess safety of toys and play, and to help with feeding and general care. My child is moving onto Pre-K & will miss Solange not being there every day.  She has worked for me for 2 yrs. A little background: I work from home and my son was born almost 3 months premature.  After trying several nannies, we were blessed to find Solange.  She is patient, hard working, and sensitive to a little one's needs.  She has greatly contributed to his great reading skills and has basic math concepts.  This is due to Solange's experience incorporating various toys and educational programs to promote these skills.  I would not hesitate to employ her as a nanny.
