About Sohmer

I recently graduated from Ohio State with a Bachelors in Speech and Hearing science and I plan to move away for graduate school in the fall. I have experience babysitting for my neighbors and I have been hired by a family on Care. com before! I'm looking for a job that is within a close driving distance, and is flexible with hours. I am also a waitress a few nights a week and all weekend. I started working with kids when I was in eighth grade. I got a babysitting certification from the Red Cross so that I could start babysitting around me. My Junior year of highschool, I helped one of my neighbors with his reading once a week and practiced vocabulary and early chapter books with him. In my spare time, I like to be physically active by going to the gym and running, and I enjoy reading. One thing you should know about me is I am a very active person and would prefer to be doing outdoor activities if possible. I am also able to provide contacts for references if needed.
