About Sofi

I'm a current post-doc at Dartmouth and recent graduate (PhD) student at UC Berkeley in the Ethnic Studies Department. Prior to relocating to the Upper Valley, I was an after school nanny for a bright and spunky third grader. I did after school pick-up, homework help, going to activities with him, and did light housework and meal prep. I've worked in a kindergarten, specifically as an extra classroom helper for a boy on the autism spectrum. I've also cared for babies around 6 months old, providing care while their parents were at work or out for the evening. For children around 6 months I took care of feeding them and putting them to bed, as well as playing with them in the home. I've volunteered as a reading buddy with second graders, where we've met once a week to focus on reading aloud and reading comprehension skills.
