About Sofia

I have worked with children in some capacity since I was 16! From in home babysitting(3 years experience), to professional early child care(2 years), to most recently working with children in an outpatient clinic while working on my social work masters degree. I've loved it all. I feel that my passion for childcare has been bolstered by my coursework in my academic career, and the way I work with children is influenced by research. One of my favorite parts of childcare is fostering creativity and confidence. I'm happy to follow your lead when it comes to household rules and communication preferences. I provide regular updates via text or phone call. I am comfortable caring for two children at a time. I can assist with cooking, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I am also trained in First Aid and CPR. My early childhood development coursework has given me valuable insights. I am excited to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family.
