About Sofia

I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, caring, and kind. I find joy in working with kids because I enjoy meeting them with a child-like wonder, as well as I am very passionate about caring for others. I'm looking for a job that I can bring joy and energy to a young persons life, as well as provide for them the nurturing and care they need. I started working with kids about 4 years ago. I began babysitting for my neighbor, became a travel nanny for her and then when I moved to Chicago I looked after a 4-year-old in my neighborhood. In my spare time, I love to read, go on runs, be in nature, watch movies, cook, bake, talk to my loved ones, playing the saxophone and piano, and singing. One thing you should know about me is I bring a whimsical and light-hearted energy to any space I am in and I am willing to provide phenomenal care to your little one! My skills include patience, listening and understanding, and excellent verbal communication skills.
