About Sofia

Hello! My name is Sofia and I am originally from Ecuador but my father was American, I am 37 years old and I have been a baby sitter since I am 18. I was an Au pair in Europe for 2 years and after that I started going to university and switched to baby sitting as a side job until the pandemic hit, it was then when I started being a full time tutor in house for toddlers. I have taken care of children from 0 age to 14. I am dynamic, energetic, creative and I am trained to stimulate growth in children through painting, board games, exercises, easy baking and / or cooking, taking walks, bathing and or caring for pets and much more. Currently I'm working in a classroom of 20 children at a Montessori school and I'm looking to offer more personalized, one-on-one care where I can truly focus on each child's individual needs and growth. With a background in the IB (Primary Years Program), I bring a balance of structure, creativity, and warmth to every child I work with.
