About Sofia

For the past two years I have worked at the child care center in Breckenridge through Vail Resorts. In this job I cared for children ranging from ages 2 months old to 6 years old. I rotated from working in the infant room, caring for children ages 2 months - 17 months old, to working in the toddler and big kid rooms with children ranging from 2 years of age to 6 years old. During my time at the daycare I ensured that the children in my care not only remained safe and healthy, but also were happy and thoroughly entertained throughout the day. I prepared meals and snacks, intervened in and mediated disputes amongst children, organized and orchestrated activities and engaged in play. In addition to this job, much of the experience I have in child care is largely attributed to working as a private babysitter and nanny. Along with the many families I babysat for my junior and senior year of high school, I worked as a private nanny for a family with children ages five and eight.
