About Sofia

Empowering students to think critically and solve problems independently is the heart of my teaching philosophy. With one year of experience, I specialize in helping elementary through high school students excel in English, History, Test Preparation, and the arts. I believe that open communication with parents is essential, so I prioritize regular check-ins to ensure my methods align with your child's unique learning style. By fostering curiosity through interactive discussions, I keep students engaged even when tackling complex subjects. I am comfortable working with pets and am happy to meet at your home, a library, or any convenient community space. Building a supportive rapport that makes the learning process truly enjoyable is what I find most rewarding. I look forward to partnering with your family to help your student reach their full potential.
