About Sofia

Nurturing young minds is truly my passion. For the past two years, I've had the joy of caring for children aged 1-10. I am currently working as a Substitute Teacher Aid at a Preschool, and I also spend my summers working at The Boys and Girls Club. My experience has equipped me with the skills to create engaging and educational experiences through outdoor play, board games, and learning activities. I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I believe in open communication with parents, and I'm happy to follow your preferred method, whether it's a quick chat at pickup or another way. I am also comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment. I'm a Junior at San Diego State University, studying Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. I aspire to become a Speech Therapist for children. I also hold certifications in CPR and First Aid. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I hope to bring a little extra joy and support to your family.
