About Sofia

I have cared for pets most of my life. I have lived with big dogs and toy breeds. I have a Labrador retrievers, a great Dane, German shepherds, toy poodles, Yorkie and a Maltese. Although I don't have much experience with cats as I have not actually had one as a pet. Dogs love me and to care for them doesn't feel like a job, just because I love to do it anyway. Caring for my pets has always been very important to me. I treat them like my babies. They follow a schedule of eating, walking around, playing and sleeping time. I like bringing them to dog parks around town so they can meet and socialize with other dogs. I lived in the Midwest before moving to the Bay Area. We had a single Animal Adoption Center located in our town, and I signed up to volunteer for foster care services. I would take in a dog for the night or watch him for a weekend, take him to parks, and play around with him. I think that it's important that the animals will find a home that will care for them like a real family.
