About Sofia

Hi there! My name is Sofia and I am a 26-year-old college graduate who recently moved to the DMV! I'm currently looking for opportunities to provide private tutoring and/or care to children aged 0-18 in the D. C. area. I've found such a love for educating and caring for children, and have many years of experience with kiddos of all ages. I have taken several courses in child psychology and child development, and love to watch children grow through encouraging routine, creativity, and independence in all that they do. I have a car in addition to metro access, and am able to commit to full- or part-time opportunities for at least one year. My rate begins at $25 per child, and may vary based on the particulars of a job. In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking, exploring museums and art galleries, and baking sweet treats!
