About Sofia

Hi I'm Sofia! I'm 24 years old and live in Morris Plains. I studied psychology and education (and Spanish!) at Rutgers, and have over 6 years experience in childcare in different positions including Lead Early Preschool Teacher. I'm currently a Floating Assistant in a school where I get to work with ages 4 months-6 years, with mixed abilities. I really value a respectful approach to working with kids. I am trained in the child-centered, play-based Reggio Emilia approach! I'm comfortable with most pets and I have my own transportation, as well as having basic first aid knowledge. I can also do light housework and cook simple meals as needed. Currently I'm looking to nanny for occasions like date nights and special events, or recurring weekly if my availability allows: mornings, evenings, and weekends.
