About Sofia

Hello families! am an active, creative, reliable, patient, and fun caretaker for your children! I am now in my second year as a kindergarten teacher in Belleville MI. I have had 8 years of combined education and experience with children aged 3 months to children with special needs aged 20+. I am also CPR and first aid certified! I have my degree in elementary special education from Hope College, have nannied and babysat for countless families, worked at Camp Geneva in Holland MI as a counselor and special needs coordinator, had many placements in different classrooms throughout my schooling, and now as mentioned earlier will be going into my third year of teaching kindergarten. I love being active, and creative, learning through play, and finding awesome things to check out in the community for your little ones! It can be challenging to find someone trustworthy and reliable for your kids who are your most important and precious things in life and I don't take that lightly.
