About Sloan

Hi families! I am a 20-year-old biology major at Harper College in Palatine IL. The experience I have with senior care has been taking care of my Nonna who had Alzheimer's and my Papa who had oxygen and several medications I helped manage. I also used to take care of my Yaya who was visually impaired and lived until 98 years old. Since I am not Home Aid Certified I am not comfortable caring for someone who is not high-functioning. I appreciate any time I can spend with seniors since my grandparents have passed on, as they not only make me feel closer to them but they also carry wisdom that if not heard, will soon be forgotten. I am a very friendly and bubbly person who can also handle someone being mean to her (as I know many people who receive senior care often to not want it). I can cook, clean, manage medication, help facilitate hobbies, exercise, and more if compensated fairly! I look forward to connecting with you to see if I am a good fit!
