About Skyler

Hi! My name is Skyler, and I'm currently a student at the University of Oklahoma pursuing a degree in Speech Language Pathology with an interest in working with children. Before starting college, I took a gap year where I worked with families as a nanny and pet sitter. During that time, I cared for children of many ages, helped with daily routines, supervised activities, assisted with homework, prepared meals, and provided dependable support to busy families. My gap year gave me valuable hands on experience, strengthened my communication skills, and confirmed my passion for working with children. In addition to childcare experience, I have worked as a camp counselor. I enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor activities, reading, and finding creative ways to keep kids engaged. My goal is always to provide a safe, positive, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable and parents feel confident their children are in good hands.
