About Skyler

Hi! I'm Skyler, a Psychology major pursuing a career in speech-language pathology -- so working with kids isn't a side gig for me, it's my whole path. I currently work at a children's learning center, where I spend every day one-on-one with kids of all ages, including children with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences. I'm patient, energetic, and genuinely good at winning over shy or strong-willed kids. With me, screen time takes a back seat: I'm big on arts and crafts (bracelet making, coloring, and painting are my specialties), baking together, reading aloud, and imaginative play. I'm happy to help with homework or bedtime reading, and I'll always leave you a quick recap of how things went. I'm based in Berkeley, available weekday evenings and weekends, and reliable to a fault -- I also work as a Resident Assistant, so calm problem-solving is second nature. I'd love to meet your family!
