About Skyler

Hello! I'm Skyler (or Sky!) and I am moving back to Virginia in mid November! I'm a dedicated childcare provider with experience as both a nanny and a preschool teacher! I love combining the skills I've gained from each role to provide high-quality care. I've even developed my own age-appropriate curriculum featuring weekly themes and engaging activities tailored to each child's stage of development. I'm strong in conflict resolution and behavior management and am always open to trying new approaches, especially if it means getting a little silly to brighten a child's day! I believe in helping kids express their emotions in healthy ways, sometimes that means a good dance party to shake those big feelings out. I have experience caring for infants, toddlers, and young children, and I'm happy to help with household tasks as well. If we work together, you'll often hear me say: "Be gentle, be careful, be kind," "It's a great day to have a great day," and "We're all a team!"
