About Skylar

Hi everyone! My name is Skylar, and I am located in Middletown, RI. I just finished my sophomore year at Bridgewater State University as an Early Childhood Education and Childhood Studies double major. I have 9 years of experience working with children through babysitting, camps, and daycare settings. I currently work as a camp counselor at a private beach club, primarily working with 4-6-year-olds, and this upcoming summer will be my 6th year there. Since my camp position does not begin until June 28th, I am looking for babysitting, nannying, or afterschool care opportunities before then! Before becoming a camp counselor, I worked at a home daycare from ages 12-14, working with children ages 0-4. That experience helped grow my passion for working with children and creating a safe, fun, positive, and engaging environment for kids of all ages.
