About Skylar

I am Skylar and I'm 22! I have always loved working with children as far as playing with my younger siblings, coaching them in sports, and helping them learn in the classroom. I've worked with children of all ages for different reasons for the last 4 years. I take pride in being able to communicate well with children and understanding them and their needs to keep them safe and happy! I am primarily looking for something for the summer as I work at a school and therefore will have open availability! I like working with kids because I love to hear them talking about all the little things they love to do or care about and being reminded how much excitement can be in the littlest of things. I started working with kids when I was 18 as a junior coach in cheerleading. I started helping with the younger teams and made progress to coach my own team! In my spare time, I like to go to the gym, read, cook, bake, and arts and crafts.
