About Skylar

I am passionate about helping students build confidence and strong academic foundations. I graduated at the top of my high school class, took AP Calculus AB, and was named MVP of my math team senior year. I genuinely love math and enjoy helping students see it as something approachable and even fun. I hold a degree in Social Anthropology and am preparing to begin my Master's in Psychology at Columbia this fall. My background in both analytical and social sciences allows me to support students in math, writing, reading comprehension, and study skills. I believe every student learns differently, and I create a patient, structured, and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and growing. I am dependable, communicative with families, and committed to helping students build both skills and confidence.
