About Skylar

I am pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at Grand Canyon University, driven by a lifelong passion for working with children. My experience includes babysitting, coaching sports camps, and teaching swimming lessons. Since age 13, I've cared for children of various ages and sizes, from single infants to families with up to four young kids. I've also developed strong leadership and instructional skills through coaching sports camps since my freshman year of high school, complemented by CPR certification and sports medicine training. Over the past three years, I've taught swimming lessons, promoting safety and a love for the water. Additionally, I volunteer at my church, teaching children about the Bible. I seek a position that fits my college schedule and allows me to positively impact children's lives while advancing my education career.
