About Skylar

Bringing joy and nurturing growth to children is my passion. My 13 years of babysitting and 2yrs of daycare. I have solidified my desire to positively impact young lives and support families with reliable care. I am patient, creative, and friendly, and I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games with children. I'm comfortable caring for two to four children at a time and enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents through verbal updates at pickup and regular texts or phone calls, always respecting your preferred method. I am also happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I am trained in First Aid and CPR, and have completed Early Child Development coursework. I'm currently working at a head start, so I'm constantly attending trainings and meetings that help keep me educated on how to handle behaviors, enforcing rules, etc.
