We hired Skylar through Care.com, and she has been an incredible help to our family over the past three years, caring for our now 4-year-old and 1.5-year-old. From the very beginning, Skylar has shown patience, kindness, and a strong awareness of her surroundings—always putting our children’s safety first. She has a natural, nurturing presence that instantly puts us at ease and makes our kids feel comfortable and cared for. Skylar is also great with our two large-breed dogs and never hesitated to help with them—whether it was letting them out to use the bathroom or playing fetch in the backyard. Without ever being asked, she regularly kept their water bowls filled and ensured they were well taken care of throughout the day. She sets respectful and healthy boundaries with our 4-year-old and shows endless patience and kindness with our toddler. Skylar follows directions with ease and always goes above and beyond, even tidying up around the house without being asked. We’re heartbroken that we have to part ways due to an upcoming move, but any family would be lucky to have her.
