About Skylar

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. I believe every student possesses unique strengths, and my goal is to foster a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. During our sessions, I actively listen and observe how you interact with new material, allowing me to tailor my approach to your specific needs. I keep lessons engaging by connecting challenging concepts to your personal interests and celebrating every small success along the way. I prioritize open communication with both you and your parents to ensure we maintain a collaborative, supportive environment. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. Whether we meet online or in person, I am dedicated to building your confidence as you master new skills. I look forward to helping you grow and succeed on your educational journey.
