About Skyla

For the last eight years, I have been a passionate caregiver for children from four months to 10 years old, and I especially adore toddlers. It's a joy to witness their first experiences and be a part of those milestones. My coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Early Child Development helps me understand children's behavior and development, so I can plan age-appropriate activities and support them through big emotions. I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and always communicate with parents using their preferred method, whether that's a text, call, or in-person chat. I have a car, I am comfortable with pets, and I am willing to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I also hold certifications in CPR Training and as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
