About Skyla

Hi, my name is Skyla and I am a college student pursuing a nursing degree. For the last four years, I have been nannying, and I babysat occasionally for five years before that. Two of those years, I've had the honor of being part of a little boy's life. I started watching him when he was 4 months old, and now he is 2 years old and starting preschool. In my nine years of experience, I've cared for children ranging in age from four months to 10 years, with a particular love for toddlers. That age is so fun because they are experiencing everything for the first time, and it's amazing to be part of those moments. I've taken early childhood development classes to deepen my understanding of child behavior and milestones. This helps me support children through big emotions and plan fun, age-appropriate activities. I'm also CPR certified and work in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a role I've had for the past year.
