About Skye

I taught kids how to sail for years, then moved into personal caretaking. I love making them happy, creating a loving and caring environment for them to enjoy and learn about life, as well as support the parents wherever I can! I'm looking for a job that allows me to have Wednesdays off as I am currently helping to take care of my grandmother who has dementia. I started working with kids when I was quite young myself, I taught a sailing camp for kids in high school and absolutely fell in love with it. In my spare time, I like to be outside! I live by the phrase, "never trust a thought you had indoors." I am very caring and passionate in life, and when it comes to taking care of kiddos. Creating an environment where kids feel safe and loved is of the utmost importance to me. My skills include a vast knowledge of safety, due to previous jobs, reading people and meeting children where they're at, and bringing joy and light to childhood, as it should be.
