I have been a caregiver for families for over 10 years, mostly watching over children under the age of five. I am comfortable watching over more than one child at a time, as well. While spending time with the children, I try to make sure the children stick to the daily routine that is already in place as well as find different ways to help the children develop physically, mentally as well as emotionally. While I'm not caring for other children, I like to spend time with my own family. I enjoy fishing with my son and granddaughter, as well as maintaining my garden.

We’ve been so lucky to have Tan help us this summer. She started watching our daughter when she was just 4 weeks old, and I can’t imagine a better person to have in our home during such an important time. She is incredibly kind and caring, and it’s clear how much she loves and engages with our baby — singing, speaking, and playing with her in ways that make her light up. Beyond caring for our daughter, she has been such a support to me as well — folding laundry, lending a hand around the house, and being wonderfully comfortable with our dog. I am forever grateful to her for the love and support she’s given us during this important postpartum period. We live in Washington, DC outside of the summer months, and if she were in DC, we would have her full time in a heartbeat. She brings a calm, warm energy into our home every day, and we are so grateful for her. I would highly recommend Tan to any family — she is truly exceptional.
