About Siobhan

I just moved into the area, a week ago, leaving my job where I provided care as a nanny for a family of three (One of which was on the autism spectrum). I provided after school care, as well as, performed light house duties around the home. I have worked with children for about 6 1/2 years, in a variety of settings. Before working as a nanny, I provided care for children in a foster home facility, the ratio was 2:13. I have also worked in before and after care as the Lead Special Needs Counselor for our center, working with children who have autism. The ratio was 1:8. I also, worked in residential facility dealing with children who have eating disorders, anger issues, and mental disabilities. I love working with kids and hope to continue doing so. Currently I am going to school to obtain a degree in recreational therapy. So that I can continue to work with children on a more therapeutic level.
