I am a Licensed Paramedic looking for relatively short-term work with Pediatric special needs. I have 10 years of medical experience in a variety of settings, and several years specifically with a Home Health. I am confident managing a wide variety of medical conditions, including: Seizures, diabetic emergencies, respiratory difficulties, cardiac conditions, and birth defects. I love children of all ages, but infants are personally my favorite patients! I would also be comfortable taking care of your other children in addition to your special needs child. I can care for your child in my home or yours, whichever you prefer. I am a Search and Rescue dog handler, and would be especially interested in a situation where my dog can accompany me while I care for your child. She is a 45 lb dog trained in search and rescue with Travis County, is very quiet and gentle. She gets along with all people and other dogs, and does not bark unless asked to do so. Having her around your child is not necessary, but would be a bonus for me and something I would love to discuss.
