Caring for the elderly is something that I find happiness with. I love building relationships and learning from those I have previously cared for. Additionally, knowing that I am helping others out is something that I strongly desire. In my previous experience, I have cared for several individuals with Alzheimer's/Dementia. I was responsible for assisting them with ADLs, meal prep, medication management, bathing and providing sincere companionship. We would enjoy going out to parks, taking rides to Castle Island and going shopping. I like to find out what hobbies/interests that those I care for have. I am very easy going and willing to help. I have a great deal of patience and compassion for others. Everyone needs someone in their lives that can offer them care, compassion and friendship. I understand that although families can provide this for elderly loved ones, they may not always be available to do so. I hope that I could be a source of happiness for others..

My mother has Alzheimer's Dementia and for several years Siobhan was our weekend caregiver. She has a warmth that pervades everything she does and was a real positive influence on both my mother's safety and happiness and our entire family.
