About Simonne

Hello! I'm Simonne, I started tutoring when my little brother needed help in school. He was in 3rd grade, and he was having trouble memorizing his sight words, so we created a jeopardy-style flash cards wall in our home to help with visualization and memorization! I like tutoring because I can help guide a student when they are having a hard time, while still letting them lead themselves to an answer. Allowing students to share their ideas with me, learn their learning style and offer different ways of approaching assignments is my favorite thing to do! I am most skilled at English (especially writing), Social Studies, and the arts. I also specialize in presentation skills such as public speaking and getting your child more comfortable taking up space! One thing you should know about me is I am very solution oriented and do not want to see your child struggle in their academics. I will do everything within my power to help them advance!
