About Simone

I am a rising senior at the University of Virginia, and a double-major in Biology and African Studies. I have one year of paid - and three years of unpaid - tutoring experience in subjects such as English, Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. I've worked with children from all age groups, ranging from pre-K to high school. I can also tutor for standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT. I am very cheerful, patient, and conscientious, and I love interacting with people. I really enjoy working with kids and have a passion for reading and acquiring knowledge. I appreciate different learning styles, and I love to find creative ways to make learning fun. I would love to get more involved in the local community by meeting new families, and helping to nurture a love of learning in kids of all ages.
