I am a young educator looking to make some extra money outside of my school district job. I have 6 years of experience working in childcare. During that time I had the opportunity to work with various age groups ranging from 6 weeks-5 years old. I was a lead infant teacher for 2 years which I was responsible for caring for up to 8 infants ranging from 6-12 months old. During my childcare experience I was also the assistant director for the childcare center. This gave me the opportunity to connect with all of the families and children in the facility. I now am a UPK teacher in a school district. I teach 18 4-5-year-olds working towards preparing them for kindergarten. My favorite part of being an educator is connecting with children and families and watching them grow and learn along the way.
