About Simone

I am a graduate of St John's College in Annapolis, MD where I read the Great Books. I recently completed a premedical program at the Harvard Extension School and am now in the process of applying to medical school. I have spent the last few years working as a teaching assistant at Harvard for the Principles of Organic Chemistry lecture course, as well as multiple laboratory courses. I strongly believe that even challenging subjects can be understood and mastered by anyone given the right conditions and guidance and strive to create that space for my students. My areas of greatest strength are Organic Chemistry; French language (I am functionally native and have lived in France); English/Critical reading (I received 100% on the verbal section of the GRE; and 100th percentile on the CARS MCAT section); History (especially US); Biology When I am not working on medical school applications I am reading, knitting, dancing, or taking walks in nature.
