About Simone

Hi! I'm Simone, a Columbia MSW student in NYC with 5+ years of childcare experience, including infant care and 3+ years caring for a child with emotional needs. I'm San Francisco born-and-raised, CPR/BLS certified for infants and children, and bring a warm, patient, attentive, developmentally sensitive approach. I completed my first-year MSW internship at The Legal Aid Society's Juvenile Rights Practice, working with children, youth, and families, and previously worked as an aide in inpatient acute rehab. I'm comfortable with bottles, diapering, naps, soothing, stroller walks, play, and light tidying related to the child. Families can expect me to be reliable, timely, communicative, calm under pressure, and quick to problem-solve. I love working with kids because I value their curiosity, honesty, and individuality, and I enjoy supporting families and building trust. I'm looking for occasional or part-time childcare work, especially infant care, date-night sitting, or family support.
