About Silvia

I'd describe my personality as kind, understanding attentive I like working with kids because I've worked with kids most of my life. I find that they are genuine and little truth tellers. They inspire and rejuvenate my spirit. I'm looking for a job that allows me to give back and continue growing. I started working with kids when I was pretty young. I am the oldest of 7, have 3 of my own as well as 16 nieces and nephews. I retired as an ESE teacher after 23 years. I have also worked as a tutor and a nanny recently. In my spare time, I like to I walk 2-3 miles a day. I also like to read and of course try to keep up with housework. One thing you should know about me is I do enjoy letting kids explore their surroundings and try to give them tools that will help them thrive. My skills include I have a lot of experience with many types of children. I am willing to try something new to have the child be more engaged. Although I do like routine, I can be flexible.
