About Silvia

Hi! My name is Silvia Jo, but most kids call me Ms. Jo. I've always loved working with children and have several years of childcare experience. While attending college to become an art teacher, I worked as an after-school teacher helping elementary-aged children with homework and activities. I then worked at Goddard as a preschool assistant teacher, caring for 3-year-olds and supporting daily lessons and routines. Most recently, I'm working at The Children's Courtyard in a lead role with toddlers for almost a year now, giving me the most experience with ages 2-3, though I'm comfortable and trained with all ages. I'm looking for a nanny position where I can build a strong connection with a family and provide safe, loving, and reliable care. My strengths include creating fun age-appropriate activities, keeping children engaged, and fostering a positive environment. Looking for 3-5 days a week, I can work any needed hours during the week days. Thank you!
