I needed someone to clean today. I signed up with Care.com. first housekeeper said she's not available at all for hire.  Then Silvia applied to my posting.   Despite 2 negative reviews this year I gave her a chance.  And an hour before the agreed time, she messages me that she has too many apartments to clean and that she does not have time to clean mine yet I first one.

 I see a lot of negative reviews for many applicants here.  Very disappointed with this platform.  Will be asking back for refund as I paid for a month to try.

Unreliable and clearly has no respect for people's time. I hired Silvia to clean my house. She confirmed the appointment day before and then cancelled Day of. I texted her twice to reschedule and she never answered. Very inconsiderate considering I waited a week for this appointment.

Sylvia was hired by myself and we have a three year old child. Sylvia goes out of her way to make sure that every aspect of the house is cleaned to perfection, so it is well sanitized for my family. If you are looking for the most honest, respectful cleaning help who never needs to be told what to do, Sylvia should be your choice. I have had occasions where we even needed to leave Sylvia with our three year old for one hour, and she will do anything to help. I am 53 and have never had a better person take care of my home.

Hired Silvia to come clean my house. We spoke on the phone, discussed what would be expected and pricing. Sent her a text to confirm the day before, which she did. The morning she was supposed to arrive, I sent her a text 30 minutes after the arrival time we agreed upon and she never responded. Called her as well and she never answered.

Silvia is an absolute pleasure to work with, She is honest, very efficient, follows directions well, and cleans every corner of the apartment.

Just amazing.  She cleans every inch of my apartment and leaves it looking like a hotel suite.  I've already recommended her to two other friends.  Well worth the few extra bucks for a professional.
