About Silvana

Hello! I have over 12 years experience tutoring and teaching children and adults Spanish, Art, Language Arts and Academic Subjects. I have worked in several settings including special education, private schools, homeschooling pods and learning centers. I attended La Sorbonne University in Paris, France where I studied French and Parsons School of Art in New York where I studied Fine Arts and Liberal Arts. I've always had a passion for foreign languages, academic subjects, art and literature. I have certificates in Yoga and Art Therapy and I enjoy incorporating the creative and mindfulness techniques I've learned into my work with students.. I am fluent in English, Spanish and speak conversational French. In my spare time I likw to bake, hike, read and spend time with my children and pets. I am active, responsible, creative and engaging.
